The funeral for Helen Becker, Napoleon, ND will be Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Napoleon, North Dakota. Visitation will be held Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Napoleon, North Dakota. Burial will be at St. Philip Neri Catholic Cemetery, Napoleon, North Dakota.

Helen Marquart daughter of George and Elizabeth (Kuhn) Marquart was born February 5, 1931 at Napoleon, ND. She grew up and attended school in Napoleon and graduated from Napoleon High School in 1949. Helen was united in marriage to Peter Becker on June 19, 1950 at Napoleon, ND. They moved to their farm north of Napoleon where they lived for 34 years. In June of 1984, they moved off the farm and built a home in Napoleon. After moving to town, Helen and Pete bought the local appliance store from their son Terry. They operated Becker's TV and Appliance for 15 years. In those 15 years, Helen truly enjoyed getting to know all of her customers and helping them. Helen loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and loved going to Prairie Nights Casino. Helen was loved and adored by her family and by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

Helen died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Napoleon Care Center, Napoleon, ND. She was 84 years old.

Helen is survived by four sons; Wayne Becker, Westerville, OH, Terry (Rhonda) Becker, Fargo, ND, Bob (Debbie) Becker, Fargo, ND and Pat (Julie) Becker, Napoleon ND; three daughters, Renee' Becker, Fargo, ND, Judy Becker, Parker, CO and Pam (Darian) Schaubert, Bismarck, ND, 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Janice Spotts, Portland, OR. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Pete, her parents, one granddaughter, Alycia, four sisters and five brothers. In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the Napoleon Care Center.
