Harlan Gene Anderson son of Eugene and Lucille (Roloff) Anderson was born on April 8, 1959 at Jamestown, ND. Harlan grew up on a farm near Kulm. He graduated from Kulm High School in 1977. He continued his education at the ND State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND and later attended Bismarck State College in Bismarck, ND. Harlan worked as a custom combiner, he managed the Cenex in Nortonville, worked for a farmer in Enderlin, He then moved to Kulm to farm and started a seed business with family.  On February 10 ^th 1996 he was united in marriage to Laurie Lynn Holmgren in Kulm, ND.  Harlan and Laurie lived in Kulm until 1996 when they moved to the Anderson family farm where they continued to farm and operate Double AA Seeds Inc. in Kulm, ND.  Over the years Harlan has enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, fishing, golfing, hunting, and singing, texting or calling to Encourage someone. Harlan Loved God, Loved People and spending time in prayer and reading God's Word.  Harlan and Laurie have enjoyed time with their many nieces and nephews, Bible study and traveling with family and friends.

Harlan died Tuesday, August 1, 2017 near his home rural Kulm, ND.  He was 58 years old.
Harlan is survived by his loving wife Laurie;  his parents, Eugene and Lucille (Roloff) Anderson of Kulm, ND;  his siblings, Kaye (John) Burich, of Golden, CO, Curt (Joy) Anderson of West Fargo, ND, Sybil (Steve) Anderson of Kulm, ND, Doreen (Paul) Wibbels of West Fargo, ND; Laurie's parents, Lorence and Connie (Orr) Holmgren of Kulm, ND, her siblings, Yvonne (Steven) Herman of Kulm, ND, Amanda (Ted) Schlepuetz of Ypsilanti, ND, Sandra (Matthew) Pfaff of Ypsilanti, ND, Annette (Justin) Hazelton of Jamestown, ND, Matthew (Angie) Holmgren of Kulm, ND, Nathan (Amber) Holmgren of Kulm, ND, Mitchell (Heather) Holmgren of West Fargo, ND; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
