The funeral for Gilbert Lang, Napoleon, ND will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Napoleon, ND at 2:00 PM.  Visitation will be held Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home at Napoleon, ND.  Burial will be at the Kintyre Cemetery, Kintyre, ND.

Gilbert Lang son of Fred and Rosina (Roesch) Lang was born May 11, 1931 on the family farmstead near Tappen, ND.  He grew up and attended county school near his home.  After his schooling Gilbert farmed with his family.  Gilbert was united in marriage to Mildred Craig on December 12, 1964 at Napoleon, ND.  They made their home on the family homestead and farmed.  They moved into Napoleon, ND in 2009.  Gilbert entered the Napoleon Care Center in 2012.  He loved to read and tell stories of the old days.  Gilbert was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Napoleon, ND.

Gilbert died Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Napoleon Care Center, Napoleon, ND.  He was 87 years old.

Gilbert is survived by two sons, Craig (Liz) Lang, Mandan, ND Chad (Shannon) Lang, Tappen, ND; one daughter, Cimberly Lang, Carmeron, MO; one brother, Reuben (Lotte) Lang, Siguin, TX; two sisters, Gertrude Learn, Bismarck, ND, Laura Marquart, Bismarck, ND; nine grandchildren.  Gilbert was preceded in death by his wife Mildred, parents, three brothers and four sisters.  Share memories and sign online guest book at www.dahlstromfuneralservice.com .  Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon, ND entrusted with arrangements.
