The funeral for Eva Just, Wishek, ND will be Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek, ND.

Eva Sayler, daughter of Edward and Christina (Weisser) Sayler was born April 20, 1920 on the family farm 16 miles southwest of Wishek, ND. She was the oldest of 16 children. Eva attended rural school in the Wishek area and after schooling she worked for the NYA in the Wishek area. Eva married Herbert E. Just on January 28, 1940 at St. James Lutheran Church near Wishek, ND. They farmed west of Wishek until 1980 when they retired and moved into Wishek. They entered the Wishek Home for the Aged in August of 2003. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. Eva enjoyed quilting, bowling, cooking, gardening, playing cards and visiting.

Eva died Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Wishek Home for the Aged, Wishek, ND. She was 92 years old.

Eva is survived by three sons, Garold (Lucille) Just, Wishek, ND; Jesse (Joell) Just, Bismarck, ND; Ricky (Karen) Just, Wishek, ND; two daughters, Janice (Daniel) Schmitt, Milan, MI; Betty (Larry) Boushey, Sandwood, WA; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Reinhold (Ella-Mae) Sayler, Bismarck, ND; Victor (Deanne) Sayler, Minneapolis, MN; Daniel (Marlys) Sayler, Wishek, ND; Herman (Alvina) Sayler, Wishek, ND; Albert (Betty) Sayler, Wishek, ND; four sisters, Edna Wiest, Wishek, ND; Landina (Wilbert) Meidinger, Wishek, ND; Arlena (Leo) Hauck, Wishek, ND and Christine (Dennis) Witt, Jamestown, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert, son, Delmar, parents, Edward and Christina, four brothers, John, Jacob, Edward and Ludwig, two sisters, Irene Just and Clara Thurn and son-in-law, Dennis Johnson.
