A private memorial service will be held for Ervin Glaesman, Lehr, ND.

Ervin, son of Gottlieb and Rosina (Hoff) Glaesman was born December 30, 1926 in Ashley, ND. He was raised and educated in McIntosh County. Ervin entered the United States Army in April of 1951 and was Honorably Discharged in April 1953. He was a member of the Lehr American Legion and a Lifetime member of the disabled American Veterans. Ervin was united in marriage to Lucille Entzi on September 2o, 1953 at Ashley, ND. Ervin faithfully attended Ebenezer Baptist Church until its closing. Ervin was a house mover until his retirement in 1998.

Ervin died Thursday July 17, 2014 at the Wishek Living Center, Wishek, ND. He was 87 years old.

Ervin is survived by his wife Lucille, Lehr, ND; his daughter, Elvira (Lawrence) Ketterling, Lehr, ND; his son, Dean Glaesman, Lehr, ND; one brother, Emil Glaesman, Lehr, ND; four grandsons, Jody Ketterling, Derrick, Travis and Devin Glaesman; four great-grandsons, Jarell and Blake Ketterling, Carson and Carter Glaesman; two great-granddaughters, Katherina Ketterling and Alayna Glaesman. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Lavina Ehley, Mary Glaesman and Alma Ehley; four brothers, Reinhold, Arthur, his twin Arvin and Alvin.
