The funeral for Edna Donner, Wishek, ND will be held Friday, January 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church at Wishek, ND. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at the St. Luke Cemetery in the spring.


Edna Walth daughter of Gottlieb and Mary (Kemmet) Walth was born November 5, 1921 rural Wishek, ND. She grew up and attended rural school in the Wishek, ND area. Edna married Emanuel Donner November 4, 1945 in Wishek, ND. They farmed in the Danzig area until their retirement. They moved into the Wishek Retirement Apartments in 2000. Edna enjoyed cooking, her rock garden and watching the wildlife out of her window. Spending time with family and friends was very special to her. Edna was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church at Wishek, ND.

Edna died January 24, 2011 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, ND. She was 89 years old.

Edna is survived by one son, Paul (Dawn) Donner, Supply, NC; five grandchildren, Benjamin Donner, Mitchell Donner, Travis Cuypers, Morgan Donner and Matthew Dreager; one great-grandchild, Brooklin Donner; three sisters, Diane (Marv) Heaton, Fargo, ND; Monica Michaelsohn, Wishek, ND; Dores (Emil) Schock, Bismarck, ND.
