The memorial service for Dolores I. Laine, Napoleon, ND will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kintyre, ND.  Burial will be at the Finnish Lutheran Cemetery, Kintyre, ND.

Dolores I. Swanson, daughter of Elwood and Lillian (Knudson) Swanson was born April 6, 1930 at Driscoll, ND where she grew up and attended school.  Dolores was united in marriage to Oliver Laine on August 7, 1953.  They lived on the farm until 1970 when they moved to Napoleon, ND.  She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kintyre, ND.  She enjoyed gardening and took pride in her flowers every year.  Dolores loved to spend time with her friends and their many adventures.

Dolores died June 24, 2018 at her home in Napoleon, ND.  She was 88 years old.

Dolores is survived by her five children, Roberta, Napoleon, ND, Michael, Kintyre, ND, Dennis, Agoura, CA, Gregory (Maryam), Winston, NJ and David, Phoenix, AZ: one brother, Glen (Joann) Swanson, Aqua Dulce, CA, two sisters, Corrine Hochhalter, Aston, OK and Gloria Cox, Phoenix, AZ; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Oliver, parents, Elwood and Lillian Swanson.  In lieu of flowers memorial can be made out to Trinity Lutheran Church, Kintyre, ND or the Finnish Lutheran Cemetery, Kintyre, ND.  Special thanks to Pastor Susan Anderson whom mom thought of as not only her pastor, but her friend.  Share memories and sign online guest book at www.dahlstromfuneralservice.com .  Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon, ND entrusted with arrangements.
