The memorial service for Dennis Ray Anderson, Ellendale, ND will be Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Kulm, ND.

Dennis Ray Anderson, son of Vincent and Arleth (Bjur) Anderson was born January 2, 1960, at Jamestown, ND.  He grew up in the Kulm area, graduating from Kulm High School in 1978.  He attended college at North Dakota State School of Science at Wahpeton, ND.  Dennis was united in marriage to Cynthia Franz on December 29, 1979, at Kulm, ND.  They moved to Denver, CO where he worked at the Pepsi Bottling Company.  Dennis and Cindy were blessed with two sons, Brooks and Brandon, who brought great joy to him.  Upon returning to Kulm he worked with his brothers, Gary and Lloyd, in a family owned business, Anderson Refrigeration and Heating.   Later he farmed and drove truck in the transportation industry. Over the past few years, Dennis truly appreciated the opportunity to drive truck as part of the MVP Transport team.

Dennis was united in marriage to Sherri Cady on July 29, 2005, in Ellendale, ND.  They lived in several cities in North Dakota before moving to Ellendale, ND, where he lived up until the time of his death. He and Sherri found joy cooking together. He was known to grill delicious meals. Dennis enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing golf.  He loved to be at the ranch spending time with his boys and enjoyed having his grandchildren and his family around.

Dennis died Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD.  He was 58 years old.

Dennis is survived by wife, Sherri, Ellendale, ND; two sons, Brooks (Tiffany) Anderson, Fargo, ND and Brandon (April) Anderson, Jamestown, ND; four grandchildren, Logan, Lydia, Noah and Isaac Anderson; step-mother, Arla Anderson, Kulm, ND; two brothers, Gary (Jeanne) Anderson, West Fargo, ND and Lloyd (Loretta) Anderson, Jamestown, ND;  one sister, Diane (Stephen) Glenn, Tulsa, OK.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent H. and Arleth Anderson.  Share memories and sign online guestbook at www.dahlstromfuneralservice.com .  Dahlstrom Funeral Home of Kulm, ND entrusted with arrangements.
