Obituary

Dean Stevahn, 58, of Oakes, ND, passed away January 17, 2022 at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Funeral services will held Wednesday, January 26 th at 10:30 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, ND. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 25 th from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home Wishek. Burial will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery. Dean Fabian Stevahn was born on November 3rd, 1963 in Bismarck, ND to Ruby (Goebel) & Clarence Stevahn of Wishek, ND. He graduated from Jamestown High School and went on to graduate from BSC with a Welding/Fabrication degree. Shortly after, he was married & had 3 children with previous wife Danene & later moved to Utah. Dean was a lifetime welder in ND, UT, & WY. He worked for companies such as Wishek Steel, Jetway, Welrich, & his latest, Harris Machinery of Oakes, ND. In his later life, he remarried Yuli Stevahn. Dean was given a life full of love. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, friends, grandchildren, best friend & cousin Keith Kaseman. Dean spent his free time working on vehicles, collecting & building guns, hunting & had his 8 second ride at a couple local rodeos. Dean was known for his craftsmanship & fabrication skills. He also enjoyed working on the family farm alongside his brother Mark Stevahn of Wishek, ND. Dean Fabian Stevahn died on Jan 17, 2022, after a long battle of COPD at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, ND at the young age of 58.

Dean leaves behind wife Yuli Stevahn; children, Darrick (Breck) Stevahn of Ogden, UT; Davin (Ceci) Stevahn of Kulm, ND; Rochelle (Michael) Rudolf of Harrisville, UT; Eric (Ann) Rodriguez of Venezuela, Siblings Edwina (Marc) Contreraz of Kulm, ND; Debbie (Tim) Staloch of Bismarck, ND; Mark Stevahn of Wishek, ND; Lora (Rick) Phelps of Wilton, ND; Clarence "Mike" (Amy) Stevahn of Horace, ND; Parents Ruby Stevahn & Dan Feist; 10 nieces & nephews and 9 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Stevahn and sister-in-law Marbelia Thurman.
