The service for David Laber, Napoleon, ND will be Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 7:00 PM at the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church at Napoleon, ND. He died at his home on February 14, 2016. He was 60 years old.

David L. Laber, son of Marvin and MaryAnn (Allmaras) Laber was born August 4, 1955 in New Rockford, ND. He grew up on a farm there and graduated from New Rockford High school in 1974. David married Patty Turcotte on August 17, 1979 in New Rockford, ND. David attended Jamestown College graduating in 1981. They moved to Napoleon, ND in 1981 where David began his teaching and coaching career. They purchased their ranch in 1997 and he continued to teach history for a couple more years and continued to coach football until 2006. David loved ice fishing, hunting coyotes, playing lowball, throwing darts, and spending time with his grandchildren.

David is survived by his wife, Patty, Napoleon, ND; one daughter, Shenille Laber, Fargo, ND; four sons, Brooks (Angie) Laber, Waconia, MN; Jesse (Kayla) Laber, Steele, ND; Brennan (Samantha) Laber, Napoleon, ND and Cole Laber, Bismarck, ND; his mother, MaryAnn Laber, Bismarck, ND; two brothers, Danny (Jeanie) Laber, Wausau, WI and Darin Laber, Bismarck, ND; three sisters, Marveen (Archie) Gilliss, Mandan, ND; Patty (Marty) Boyle, Dickinson, ND and Joni Dodds, Bismarck, ND; five grandchildren, Logan, Ethan, Hadley, Luke and Sawyer.
