The funeral for Darlene Bjur, 81, Kulm, ND will be Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Baptist Church at Kulm, ND. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home Kulm, ND. Burial will be at Swede Township Cemetery rural Kulm.

Darlene Woehl daughter of Henery and Emma (Koenig) Woehl was born March 20, 1934 on the family farm. She attended grade school at Antelope Valley country school south of Fredonia, ND. Darlene graduated from Kulm High School in 1952. Darlene attended Berlin Baptist Church. She taught country school for four years until 1956. Darlene married Virgil Bjur November 17, 1957 at the Berlin Baptist Church. They farmed and ranched NW of Kulm in Norden and Swede Township until 2013. Darlene was a member of the Kulm Ambulance for 20 plus years and a member of the Kulm Baptist Church.

Darlene died Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Wishek Community Hospital, Wishek, ND. She was 81 years old.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Virgil, Kulm, ND; twin brother Darwin (LaVone) Woehl, Lodi, CA; in-laws, Joyce (Arley) Anderson, Kulm, ND; Arlene Hamlin, Kulm, ND; Harriet (Calvin) Schlecht, Porter, MN; Elaine (Lloyd) Gackle, Fargo, ND and Verlye Bjur, Kulm, ND; 32 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Luella and George Gieger and brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and DeNome Woehl and two nephews.
