Clifton Bjur, 92, of Kulm, ND, passed away January 30, 2024, at the South Central Health, Wishek ND. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Kulm Assembly of God Church. A Sharing of Memories Service will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Kulm Assembly of God Church. Burial will take place at the Kulm Assembly of God Cemetery.

Clifton Oliver Bjur was born September 19, 1931 to Alvin and Lillian (Johnson) Bjur. He was raised on a farm north of Kulm. Clifton attended school in a one room schoolhouse in the Swede Township. He married Violet Doering on April 2, 1953. Together they settled on a farm north of Kulm until moving into Kulm in 1997.

Clifton loved to farm, as well as going hunting and fishing, doing carpentry work and hunting artifacts. He also enjoyed studying the bible and playing his violin. He was active in the Kulm Assembly of God Church where he taught Sunday School, working with the youth group and served on the church board.

Clifton is survived by, his children, Adele (Richard) Flaherty, Jerry (Kim) Bjur and Ken (Jan) Bjur; grandchildren, Rachel Dunn, Alicia Chernila, Maya Thomas, Nicholas Bjur, Lucas Bjur, Matthias Bjur, Jamison Bjur, and Ashton Dennert; seven great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandson; one brother, Lyle (Claire Marie) Bjur.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 54 years, Violet; and two sisters, Arleth Anderson, and June Land.
