Clark Nies, 64, of Wishek, ND, passed away January 29, 2023, at his home with his family by his side. A memorial service will be on held Friday, February 3, 2023, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Wishek. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in the summer at the Wishek City Cemetery.

Clark Wilbur Nies was born on March 23, 1958, in Eureka, SD to Wilbur O. and LaVerna Nies. He grew up on a farm near Wishek. In 1987 he moved to Colorado Springs, CO where he worked for Super Steam Carpet Cleaning. In 2010, Clark moved back to Wishek where he started CW Flooring and Clean and Brite Carpet Cleaning. Clark took great pride in his work.

Clark had a passion for horses and spent hours working with his horses and riding them. His greatest joy were his children, Tyler and Faith, whom he loved very much.

He faced his battle with cancer with positivity hope and great strength. His faith sustained him through this battle along with love and support of family and friends.

Clark is survived by his children, Tyler Nies, Colorado Springs, Co and Faith Nies, Wishek; mother LaVerna Nies; sister, Karen; brothers, Kent (Twila), Brian (Marcella) and Kevin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur and his sister, Lyla.

We will miss him dearly, but he will be forever in our hearts.
