The funeral for Clarence Ulmer, Wishek, ND will be Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Wishek, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at the Wishek City Cemetery, Wishek, ND.


Clarence Ulmer, son of William and Martha (Knoll) Ulmer was born March 12, 1921 at Danzig, ND. He grew up and attended country school. Clarence farmed at home south of Green Lake near Wishek. Clarence married Ruth Michaelsohn April 20, 1948 at Wishek, ND. Ruth died in 1967. Clarence married Darlene Hoffman April 5, 1969 at Eureka, SD. They lived on the farm in the summer and spent the winters in their home at Wishek. Clarence retired in 2005. Clarence was a member of the Men's Brotherhood and the First Baptist Church of Wishek, ND.


Clarence died Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the Wishek Community Hospital, Wishek, ND. He was 89 years old.

Clarence is survived by his wife Darlene, Wishek, ND; one son, Dean (Echolyn) Ulmer, Selby, SD; one step son, Scott (Collette) Werre, Brookings, SD; one step daughter, Sheila Mulder, Ipswich, SD; one grandchild, Reagan Ulmer; 4 step grandchildren, Christopher Mulder, Cassandra Mulder, Tyler Werre, Eric Werre; two step great-grandchildren, Savannah Mulder and Haeleigh Mulder; two brothers, Benny (Emma) Ulmer, Wishek, ND; George (Jean) Ulmer, Wishek, ND; two sisters, Freida (Bud) Billington, Sun City, AZ and Irene Thurn, Wishek, ND.
