The funeral for Clarence Klein, Wishek, ND formerly of Lehr, ND will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church at Lehr, ND. Clarence died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at his home. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at the Lehr City Cemetery, Lehr, ND.

Clarence Klein son of Jacob and Martha (Mueller) Klein was born August 21, 1932 at Lehr, ND. He grew to manhood on the family farm 10 miles northwest of Lehr, ND. Clarence attended grade school in Hillsburg District. On May 22, 1952 Clarence was united in marriage to Lucille Leischner at Hope EUB Church rural Lehr, ND. In the spring of 1953 they moved to a farm 12 miles northwest of Lehr. Five years later they purchased their home farm 11 miles north of Lehr where they raised their family until retirement in 2009. Clarence then made his home in Wishek, ND. Clarence was a member of Lehr United Methodist Church and participated in various church activities. He loved farming and also his hobbies of hunting and fishing.


Clarence died Thursday, June 28, 2012 at his home at Wishek, ND. He was 79 years old.

Clarence is survived by four children, Gwen Boschee, Wishek, ND; Daniel (Lynn) Klein, Lehr, ND; Keith (Naomi) Klein, Wishek, ND; Jackie (Keith) Ulmer, Wishek, ND; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters.
