The funeral for Clara Miller, Wishek, ND will be Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, ND. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 to 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, ND. Burial will be at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek, ND.

Clara Meidinger, daughter of Ferdinand and Dorothea (Rudolf) Meidinger was born July 10, 1918 at Wishek, ND. She grew up and attended rural school. Clara worked in Bismarck, ND at a hotel as a housekeeper. In 1941 she returned home to help with the family. Clara married Leo Miller November 24, 1949 at Wishek, ND. She worked at the Wishek Home for the Aged as a CNA until retiring in 2000. Clara was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church at Wishek, ND. She enjoyed walking and was very health conscious. Clara enjoyed having her grandchildren stay with her for 3-4 weeks over their summer vacation.

Clara died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Wishek Home for the Aged, Wishek, ND. She was 93 years old.

Clara is survived by one son, Joel Miller, Dunseith, ND; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six brothers, Roy (Luella) Meidinger, Wishek, ND; Tom (Millie) Meidinger, Fargo, ND; Bill (Leona) Meidinger, Ashley, ND; Art Meidinger, Plazerville, CA; Joe (Melvina) Meidinger, Wishek, ND; Walter ( Marvalene) Meidinger, Wishek, ND; two sisters, Rose Heyne, Wishek, ND and Wilma Speidel, Bismarck, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, daughter-in-law, Karen, parents, two brothers, Oscar and Richard and one sister, Ruth.
