Obituary

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
The memorial service for Chad W. Gader will be Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Napoleon, ND.
Chad Gader was born October 21, 1974 to Brian and Candice (Topp) Gader. He was baptized and confirmed as a Lutheran. From the time he was a little boy, he loved sports. Chad played every ball game that came along for as long as he was able to. He played football, baseball, basketball and track from junior high through high school. Chad graduated from Napoleon High School in 1993. Chad lived in Bismarck, Minneapolis, Moorhead and came back home to Napoleon in the summer of 2015. The greatest joys in Chad's life were his sons and siblings. He loved spending time with his family. Chad faced each cancer battle with courage and grace. He never complained about his health, but was instead always concerned for others. Chad had many friends, young and old. He was a faithful Seahawks and Tarheels fan from a very young age to the time he passed.
Chad left our world peacefully in the early morning hours of August 1, 2015 at a Bismarck hospital. He died after a 7-year battle with brain cancer. Chad was 40 years old.
Chad is survived by his parents, Brian and Kristy Gader, Napoleon, ND and Candice and Reggie Grinde, West Fargo, ND; his sons, Tre, Zachary, Devon and Elijah; his siblings, Jenny (Jason) Smith, Brandon Raethz and Corey (Amanda) Raethz all of Fargo, ND, Paul (Terisa) Gader, Lehr, ND, Joe Gader, Napoleon, ND and Lisa (Joel) Anderson, Kensal, ND; grandmother, Mary Topp, Carrington, ND.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
