Betty Noel, 80, of Napoleon, ND, passed away June 23, 2022 at the Napoleon Care Center. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Napoleon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at the Napoleon City Cemetery.

Betty LaVina Tergesen was born April 14, 1942 in Burnstad, ND to Leif and Emma (Abel) Tergesen. She grew up on a farm near Burnstad and attended school in Napoleon until her senior year where she graduated from Wishek High School. She went on to attend Kristy's Beauty School in Bismarck. After completing beauty school Betty opened up her own shop called Betty's Beauty Shop in Kulm, ND. She married Leo Noel July 17, 1976 in Steele, ND. From there Leo and Betty farmed for a few years until moving to Mandan for several years and eventually returning to Napoleon in 2006.

Betty enjoyed do crafts, spending time with family and especially playing bingo.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Betty Jean (Bud) Freshour; grandchildren, Bud Jr., Katie, Gracie and Elijah; and a good family friend Frank Klein.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
