The funeral for Bertha Schock of Wishek, ND will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM at St. Luke Lutheran Church at Wishek, ND. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home of Wishek, ND. Burial will be at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek, ND.

Bertha Kuebler daughter of John Adam and Katherina (Heiser) Kuebler was born January 23, 1921 on the family farm in Logan County near Wishek, ND. Bertha grew up on the family farm northwest of Wishek and received her education at Hills District #19 in rural Logan County schools. She continued to live at home until her marriage to Theodore Schock on July 6, 1941 on her family's farm. Following their marriage they farmed on the Kuebler family farm until November of 1979 when they moved into Wishek, ND. She is a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, WELCA and Fred Kelly American Legion Auxiliary in Wishek. Bertha enjoyed sewing and was a wonderful seamstress.

Bertha Schock, died at the Wishek Living Center on October 28, 2014. She was 93 years old.

Bertha is survived by; one son, Kenneth "Ken" (Karen) Schock, of Bismarck, ND; three daughters, Jean (Dale) Ziegler, Bismarck, ND; Patricia "Trish" Coleman, Bismarck, ND; and Susanne "Sue" (Tennis) Ingebretson, Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren, John Schock, Joseph (Kim) Gross, Chad (Sara) Gross, Tracy (Bob) Ottesen, Kelly (Dave Johnson) Mertz, Melissa(Chris Jury) Mertz; three great-children Ciara Schock, Markel and Joey Gross; two brothers-in-law, Emil (Doris) Schock, Bismarck, ND, Vernon Reiger, Bismarck, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted, Parents, Four brothers, Christ, August, John and Adolph, six sisters, Rose, Viola, Martha, Pauline, Tillie, Esther and several infant siblings.
