The funeral for Benjamin Wanner, Wishek, ND will be Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 1:30 PM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek, ND. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek, ND.

Ben Wanner, son of Fred and Katherina (Breitbarth) Wanner was born January 17, 1929 at Burnstad, ND. He grew up and attended rural school in the Burnstad area. Ben served in the US Army, in Korea. He was united in marriage to Leah Hauck in 1955. He farmed in Logan County. Ben worked for farmers in SD and also at Biegler Auto detailing cars in Aberdeen, SD. Ben moved to Wishek in 2002 and worked for Pfeifle Chevrolet until his retirement in 2004. Ben enjoyed playing pool, cards and dancing. He liked everything to be neat and clean.

Ben died Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Wishek Living Center, Wishek, ND. He was 86 years old.

Ben is survived by one son, Timothy (Patty) Wanner, Bismarck, ND; two daughters, Sherry (Edward) Feist, Bismarck, ND; Sharlene (Wayne) Bauer, Wishek, ND; one brother, Theodore Wanner, Sturgis, SD; one sister, Verna (Calvin) Hochhalter, Wishek, ND; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
