Arlet Jean Wolff, 91, of Wishek, ND, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2026, at the Wishek Living Center, surrounded by the love of her family. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, October 26, 2026, at St. Luke Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00pm on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at Feist Funeral Home, Wishek.
Arlet was born on Valentines Day 1935 in Eureka, SD, to Emil and Ernestine Neuharth. Raised with a deep appreciation for farm life, she married the love of her life, Harvey Wolff, on June 21, 1959. Together, they settled on the Wolff family farm east of Wishek, building a life rooted in hard work and dedication. Arlet was the true heart of the farm, tending to beef cattle, milk cows, and chickens, selling cream and eggs, and maintaining a massive vegetable garden that produced hundreds of quarts of canned goods each year.
Her passion for the land and devotion to family were beautifully passed down to her two sons, David and George, who carry on the ideals she lived by. A woman of steadfast faith, Arlet was a dedicated member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Over the years, she served as a Sunday School teacher and an Altar Guild member. Her passion for quilting was unmatched; even when she could no longer physically make the trip down to the church basement, her hands and heart remained dedicated to the craft.
Above all, Arlet lived for her family. She was a fixture at her grandchildren’s school events and performances, always their biggest cheerleader. Her kitchen table was the heart of the home—a place where everyone gathered to share laughter, love, and a bounty of food that surpassed any appetite. These banquets continued into the Living Center where we could all congregate over a feast.
Arlet’s legacy lives on through her two sons, David (Sue) Wolff and George (Janet) Wolff, both of Wishek, ND; her three beloved grandchildren, Julianna (Colin Crabtree) Wolff, Dylan (Sloan) Wolff, and Adam (Megan) Wolff; and her precious great-grandchild, Rory Jean. She is also survived by her sister, Marvolene Wolff of Wishek; sister-in-law, Shirley Neuharth; nephews, Carl Hammrich and Lee Neuharth; and nieces, Kristi Kolb and Paula (Mike) Burton.
She was reunited in heaven with her husband, Harvey; her parents, Emil and Ernestine; her brother, Ariel Neuharth; brother-in-law, Delmar Wolff; nieces, Sharon Hammrich and Nancy Neuharth; and nephew, Bob Kolb.
