The funeral for Arlene Jean Buchholz, Lehr, ND will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the Zion United Methodist Church at Lehr, ND at 11:00 am. Visitation will be Friday, from 1:00 to 7:00 with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Dahlstrom Funeral Home at Wishek, ND. Burial will be at the Lehr City Cemetery, Lehr, ND.

Arlene Entzi, daughter of Reinhold and Rose (Ketterling) Entzi was born August 20, 1935 at the homestead located in Logan County. She attended rural school. Ralph and Arlene were married May 8, 1955 in Lehr, ND. They made their home northeast of Lehr, ND farming and Arlene worked occasionally at the Grenz General Store. Arlene was an excellent housewife and mother, she was notorious for her rhubarb pie among many other baking and cooking dishes. Arlene was the definition of an excellent Grandma, her grandchildren were her world. Arlene had many friends and liked to visit.

Arlene died Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Wishek Community Hospital, Wishek, ND. She was 82 years old.

Arlene is survived by her husband Ralph, Lehr, ND; two daughters, Patty Weispfenning, Fredonia, ND and Terry (John) Schock, Jamestown, ND; two sons, Bobby (Carleen) Buchholz, Lehr, ND and Billy (Kari) Buchholz, Fredonia, ND; grandchildren, Stacey and David Herrmann, Kulm, ND; Stephanie and Alan Roehrich, Fargo, ND; Brooke, Ty, and Levi Buchholz, Fredonia, ND. Great grandchildren; McKenzie and Dawson Herrmann, Kulm, ND. Step grandchildren Brandy (Tim) Liney, Jacksonville Beach, FL, Trevor Goldade, Mandan, ND, Kimberly Goldade, Bismarck, ND. Step great grandchildren; Judah Jose, Harrison Liney, and Charlotte Liney. Two sisters; Shirley Buchholz, Bismarck, ND and JoeAnne Oberlander, Richland, WA. One sister-in-law Evelyn Entzi, Jamestown, ND. Many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Deloris, one brother, Elroy, one son-in-law, Steve Weispfenning, five brothers-in-law Laurence Buchholz, Bert Oberlander, Jerry Buchholz, Kenneth Klettke, and Harvey Hjelmhaug.
