NOTICE OF FUNERAL TIME CHANGE TO 2:00 PM Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Arla Anderson (Johnson) age 86, of Kulm, ND, passed away March 17, 2026, at CHI St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Kulm Assembly of God Church. Arla was born April 18, 1939, to Carl and Bertie (Priest) Johnson at Maddock, ND.  Arla was raised on a farm in Isabel Township and attended schools in the area graduating High School from the Benson County Agriculture and Training School. Arla is a graduate of the Lutheran Bible Institute, Minneapolis, MN and Valley City State College.  She taught schools in Montana and North Dakota. Arla married Vincent Anderson on July 17, 1970 at Cando, ND. Vince and Arla farmed in Swede township and retired in 1996.  After retirement they moved to Kulm where Arla remained.  Arla was involved at the Kulm Assembly of God Church in various areas including teaching Sunday school, church treasurer and women's ministry group.  She was known for her great love for Jesus and desire to study her Bible.

Arla is survived by three stepchildren, Gary (Jeanne) Anderson, West Fargo, ND, Diane (Steve) Glenn, Tulsa, OK and Lloyd (Loretta) Anderson, Jamestown, ND; sisters, Dorothy Paulson, Bismarck, ND and Louise Olson, Maddock, ND; step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Arla was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; stepson, Dennis Anderson; brothers, Walter, Donald and Albert Johnson; sister, Katherine Martian.

Arla wishes to be remembered as someone who loved her Lord Jesus Christ and her desire was that He increase in her life and she would decrease.  John 3:29-30 Colossians 3:3
