The funeral for Anton A. "Tony" Silbernagel, Napoleon, ND will be held Friday, August 23, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Napoleon, ND.  Visitation will be held Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Napoleon, ND.  Burial will be at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery rural Napoleon, ND.

Anton A Silbernagel, son of Anton and Annie (Horner) Silbernagel was born September 19, 1928 on the family farm near Napoleon, ND.  He grew up and attended rural school Manheim #3 school.  Tony served in the US Army during the Korean War.  After his time in the service he worked in Chicago, IL, Minneapolis, MN and last at Gwinner, ND where he was employed at Melroe Bobcat.  Tony retired in the late 90's then made his home on the farm and farmed in rural Napoleon until he entered the Napoleon Care Center in August of 2019.  Tony was a member of the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Tony died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Napoleon Care Center, Napoleon, ND.  He was 90 years old.

Tony is survived by three sisters, Ida Doll, Dawson, ND, Luella Kent, Steele, ND Ann Woehl, Bismarck, ND; three brothers, John Silbernagel, Napoleon, ND, Clem Silbernagel, Napoleon, ND, Donny Silbernagel, Kathryn, ND.  He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.  Share memories and sign online guestbook at www.dahlstromfuneralservice.com .  Dahlstrom Funeral Home of Napoleon, ND is entrusted with arrangements.
