Obituary

Anna Mary Silbernagel, 79, of Napoleon, passed away, July 15, 2021 at the Napoleon Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 20th from 5:30-7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon. Burial will be held at St. Philip Neri Cemetery.

Anna was born August 7, 1941 to Anton and Anna (Horner) Silbernagel on the farm in Logan County. She attended Manheim #3 country school and St. Anthony's Catholic Church south of Napoleon. After her schooling, she resided at home on the farm and later in Napoleon caring for her parents until they passed. She lived independently for some time, eventually residing in various group home apartments and working numerous jobs. In April of 2018, she returned home to live in the Napoleon Care Center until her passing.

Anna loved to laugh and have fun. She always had a comeback with a rather dry sense of humor and liked making others laugh. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending church. Anna will be missed, but our hearts are at peace that she is safely home.

Anna is survived by her brothers and sisters, Ida Doll, Dawson, John A. Silbernagel, Napoleon, Luella Kent, Steele, Clem Silbernagel(Theresa), Napoleon and Don Silbernagel, Katheryn, ND and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gabriel, George, Joe, Tony, Vincent and infant sister Theresa; brothers-in-law, George Doll and Endel Kent and her sister-in-law, Joni Silbernagel.
