The funeral for Andrew J. Schneider, Napoleon, ND will be Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon, ND. Visitation will be Monday, January 18, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Napoleon. Burial will be at St. Philip Neri Catholic Cemetery in Napoleon.

Andrew J. Schneider, son of John and Barbara (Fischer) Schneider was born January 2, 1933 near Napoleon, ND. He grew up and attended Napoleon High School. Andy served in the US Army in Germany during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Marcella Wagner in 1956 and they made their home in Napoleon. Andy worked on the bridge crew for the Soo Line, at the local Mobil station, for the UBC lumber yard for many years and with Neigum Concrete. Andy was an all-around handyman and could fix just about anything. Andy was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, a lifetime member of the American Legion and a lifetime member of the Napoleon Volunteer Fire Department.

Andy died Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Wishek Hospital, Wishek, ND. He was 83 years old.

Andy is survived by his wife Marcella, three daughters, Stephanie (Larry) Holt, Napoleon, ND, Cheryl (Tom) West, Acworth, GA, Cyndi (Kevin) Wolf, Napoleon, ND; two sons, Andrew (Tuffy) Schneider, Gilbert, AZ and Jeffrey Schneider, Dickinson, ND; four grandchildren, Jenna and Brianna Wolf, Andrew and Daniel West; one sister, Christine Sperle, Ypsilanti, MI and numerous nieces and nephews.
