The funeral for Alma Forsman, Ellendale, ND formerly of Jud, ND will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, Kulm, ND. Visitation will be held Monday, October 21, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Kulm, ND. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.

Alma Gebhardt twin daughter of John and Minnie (Nehls) Gebhardt was born on January 30, 1920. She was born on her parent's farm in Dickey County near Monango. She was baptized and confirmed in the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Monango. She attended country school and graduated from Monango High School 1940. Alma was united in marriage to Henry Forsman August 3, 1940. She took correspondence classes at Valley City College and received her Teaching Certificate. She taught at Country Schools in Jud for 2 years and moved to Jud in 1944. Alma found great joy in her music. She loved singing with her twin Marie and the Community Chorus at Jud. Alma taught music lessons for piano, accordion and guitar for many years in her home.

Alma died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Prince of Pease Care Center in Ellendale, ND. She was 93 years old.

Alma is survived by 3 daughters, Marcene (David) Middleton, Manvel, ND, Nancy Reede, Spearfish, SD, Marlene (Ryan) Heidinger, Kulm, ND, twelve grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; one brother, Frank and Peggy Gebhardt Kalispell Mt, Alma's twin sister, Marie Busch, Ellendale ND, one sister-in-law, Wanda Gebhardt, Monango ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry (1993), son Edward, grandson Jason, granddaughter Wendy and brothers Edward, John Albert and Henry. Her life was a blessing to her family.
