Alice was a wonderful cook and many family memories were made when gathered around her table. It didn't matter if five people showed up for Sunday dinner or twenty, she always had enough. Alice was known as the "Cookie Grandma" and always had cookies to share. She especially loved baking Christmas cookies and would make up to twenty five different kinds to be sure she didn't miss anyone's favorite. She adored her grandchildren and loved the time she spent with them. She often talked about leaving their fingerprints when the weekends were over so she could keep enjoying them. She enjoyed playing cards and dancing, especially to a "good" polka.
