Alice Meidinger, 92, of Zeeland, ND, died July 2, 2024 at the Ashley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Salem Reformed Church, Ashley, ND. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be held at New Kassel Cemetery, Zeeland, ND.

Alice Viola (Brandner) Meidinger, daughter of Jacob and Martha (Lay) Brandner was born January 10, 1932 in rural Zeeland area. She was the oldest of two children, a sister, (Bernice Wanner).

She attended school in rural Zeeland. Alice married Otto J Meidinger on October 18, 1955, at New Kassel Reformed Church in rural Zeeland, North Dakota.

Otto and Alice made their home on the farm where Otto was born and raised, 12 miles Northeast of Zeeland. Alice enjoyed gardening, tending to her poultry, and home making.

Alice is survived by her six children, three sons, Steve (Michele) Meidinger, Neil (Rebecca) Meidinger, both of Zeeland, and Randy Meidinger of Rapid City, South Dakota; three daughters, Norma (Rick) Torrez, Orlando FL, Darlene Meidinger and friend (John Keller), North Pole, Alaska, Bonnie (Roy) Van Scoy, Rapid City, South Dakota; eight grand-children, Anthony (Marianne) Torrez, Christina Torrez, Kevin (Kelsey) Restemayer, Glenn (Sarah) Crowe, Mikayla (Mitch) Kallevig, Marissa Meidinger and friend Jared Nolz, Jacob Meidinger, Cody (Hayley) Erickson; great-grandchildren, Addison and Noah Restemayer, Klayton and Brynlee Kallevig, and Hunter and Briar Erickson.

Alice was preceded by her loving husband, Otto; sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Wilbert Wanner; her parents, Jacob and Martha; nephew, Bradley Wanner.
