Alexander "Alex" Feist, 93 of Napoleon, ND, died April 14, 2024 at his home in Napoleon. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 10:30 AM, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 5-6 PM with a rosary/vigil service at 7:00 PM at Feist Funeral Home, Napoleon. Burial will be held at the Burnstad Cemetery.

Alex was born August 21, 1930 to Joseph and Magdalena (Materi) Feist in the St. Michael's area east of Linton, ND.  He was raised and educated in the Burnstad area and farmed on the family farm until he was drafted into the US Army to fight in the Korean War in 1953. He was honorably discharged in 1961.

Alex returned home and married Edna Stadel on June 26, 1961. Together they started a farm near Burnstad, where they farmed and raised their family until retiring and moving to Napoleon.

Alex is survived by his wife, Edna; six children, Belinda (Cory) Zeller, Kevin (Sue) Feist, Darwin Feist, Annetta (Shawn) Theurer, Keith (Terri) Feist and Jeff Feist; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and four sisters.
