The memorial service for Alejandro "Alex" H. Strickland, Jamestown, ND, formerly of Kulm, ND, will be held Monday, March 27, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Kulm, ND. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service.

Alejandro "Alex" H. Strickland was born on October 3, 1985, in Tucson, Arizona to Leanne (Strickland) Mueller. He grew up in Tucson, until he and his mother moved to Kulm, at which time she married Clinten Mueller and they became a family. Alex started sixth grade in Kulm and graduated from Kulm High School in 2005. After graduating from high school he was employed with the railroad and the oil industry, and later started driving semi truck for Magnum Trucking, where he was currently working. Alex also worked for several farmers in the Kulm area.

Alex was given a life full of love. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, his daughter, Aurelia, his sister, Sylvia, his brother, Steven, and his closest friend since childhood, Zebulon "Zeb" Mahin. He loved football, especially the Green Bay Packers, dogs, his favorite being Pit Bulls, and Johnny Cash.

Alejandro "Alex" H. Strickland died March 22, 2017 at his home in Jamestown, at the age of 31.
Alex leaves behind his daughter, Aurelia Strickland; his parents, Clinten and Leanne Mueller, Kulm, ND; one sister, Sylvia Gutierrez, Bismarck, ND; one brother, Steven Mueller, Kulm, ND; grandparents, Norman and Jane Mueller, Marje Strickland, Bill Day, Cleofas Gutierrez; aunts, Rosie Johnson, Donna Franco, Lois Muro, and Crystal Mueller; and cousins Yolanda, Andrea, Angela, Cecilia, Cody, Jonathan, Samantha, and Heather; and his two dogs, Bo and Cash.  Share memories and sign online guestbook at www.dahlstromfuneralservice.com.
