Aldon Franz, son of John and Pauline (Graf) Franz was born June 29, 1925 at Napoleon, ND. Aldon grew up on the family farm in the Napoleon, ND area. He lived with his parents and help on the family farm. In 1953 he moved in with his sister Ellena and brother-in-law Walter Rau. In 1970 he moved in with his sister Emma and brother–in-law Milton Rau. Aldon entered the Napoleon Care Center in 1996. He was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church at Napoleon, ND.

Aldon died Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Napoleon Care Center at Napoleon, ND. He was 85 years old.

Aldon is survived by three sisters, Emma Rau, Napoleon, ND; Leona Schwartzenberger, Grand Forks, ND; Edna Brothen, Fargo, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ellena Rau.
