Agnes Dallman, 89, of Lehr, ND, received her angel wings on the morning of March 19, 2026, at the Wishek Living Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek. Burial will take place at the Lehr Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 3:00 - 4:00 pm with a prayer service at 4:00 pm at Feist Funeral Home, Wishek.

Agnes was born on January 6, 1937, to Jacob and Christina (Lippert) Janke on the family farm in rural Fredonia. Agnes married Eldon Dallman on June 13, 1954, at Grace Lutheran Church, Lehr. They lived on Eldon's parents farm and raised their family there. They took over the farm when Eldon's parents retired and moved to Jamestown.

Agnes was a hard worker. She milked cows, raked hay and always had a home cooked meal for her family and anyone else that walked through the door. In 1993 Eldon and Agnes retired from farming and moved to Lehr. Agnes retired from farming but never from cooking and baking. Agnes worked for Tom and Corrine Finck at the café in Lehr and also at Prairie Winds Restaurant in Wishek for a time. She was the main cook at the Double D Café, that her son, Glenn and daughter-in-law, Dawn owned. Wednesdays was their dough day, and the place was usually full, to get her good German meals. When Double D Café sold in 2007, she continued to help Marie Dewald for a time.

Agnes then took orders for her German goodies, making many people happy with her cheese buttons, strudels and homemade noodles. Angel food cakes with her "cream gravy" was one of her specialties. At Christmas time her children, grandchildren and even her great grandchildren, would patiently wait for the pfeffernuesse and cranberry cookies to be baked. Agnes always took pride in the food and baked goods she made for everyone. When Agnes wasn't busy in the kitchen, she was busy playing cards. Eldon and Agnes loved playing pinochle, and they were always ready to play a game when company came. They spent many hours playing cards together.

Agnes entered the Wishek Living Center in February of 2022. Agnes's family would like to thank moms "nursing home family" for the great care she was given by everyone.

Agnes is survived by her six children, Glenn (Dawn) Dallman, Lehr, Cordell (Mona) Dallman, Crete, Renae (Frank) Barnick, Bismarck, Kristy Glaesman, Lehr, Harlan (Lori) Dallman, Lehr and Marsha (Tom) Nitschke, Kulm; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Shirley (James) Brandner, Bismarck; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon in April of 2023; her parents; sister, Laura Lautt; brothers, Alvin, Clifford, Leroy and Ervin Janke; and her great grandson, Colbie Fandrich.
